 When caring for depression we take a holistic perspective found in most integrative approaches. We take into account the complex nature of depressive disorders and the reasons why people experience them. Mind-body practices are techniques you can use to enhance the mind’s positive impact on the body such as, meditation, relaxation training, guided imagery, hypnosis, etc. Cognitive behavioral techniques provide ways you can learn to control and guide your own thoughts. We also address how nutrition, movement and sleep have an impact on depression.  We will discuss your options with you and have you choose what is right for you.
