Family Counseling
Family Counseling may involve all members of the family or family subgroups. The goal is to provide tools for the family members to learn to communicate more effectively, support one another, and learn to handle various difficulties or challenging situations impacting the family. Family Therapy can be especially helpful if a family is facing illness or grief, undergoing transition and change, or experiencing stress and trauma. The goal of family therapy is not to fix or change one person, but to assist the family in recognizing how each family member has a role in finding solutions that are healthy and productive for the family.
