Job Summary

Bridges and Pathways Counseling Services, Inc. is looking for passionate, self-motivated mental health providers interested in growing their own private practice while joining our team of independent 1099 contractors. At Bridges and Pathways, our providers enjoy the flexibility of setting their own pace, working on their own schedules, and managing their practices independently. The contract position at Bridges and Pathways Counseling Services is open to any licensed mental health practitioner in the state of Minnesota.

We offer essential support services—including access to insurance panels, client referrals, billing, marketing, credentialing, and more—so you can focus on providing high-quality care. Whether you prefer telehealth from home, working from your own office, or utilizing our office space in Forest Lake, we provide the flexibility to choose the setting that works best for you. Access to office space through Bridges and Pathways Counseling Services is available and can be discussed based on your needs.

Since transitioning to new ownership in January 2023, we’ve been refreshing our branding and actively developing an updated website to improve visibility and outreach for all affiliated providers. Contract Pay.

Duties May Include:

  • Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and others
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy
  • Provide counseling and support for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Address gender-related issues in therapy sessions

Skills:

  • Proficiency in child and family counseling techniques- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation methods and tools
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
  • Experience in conducting therapy sessions using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques
  • Collaborate with other professionals when necessary
  • Excellent communication skills to establish rapport with clients and effectively convey therapeutic concepts
  • Strong research skills to stay updated on the latest developments in the field of mental health therapy

Requirements:

All candidates must hold a Master’s degree and be licensed in the State of Minnesota or actively working toward licensure under appropriate supervision. Please note that clinical supervision is not provided through Bridges and Pathways Counseling Services, so candidates must have their own clinical supervisor in place. However, if you are currently under supervision and otherwise meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply—this can be discussed further during the interview process.
