At Bridges and Pathways Counseling Services, we understand that mental health care often involves more than therapy alone. For many individuals, medication can be a crucial component of a comprehensive treatment plan to help manage symptoms, restore balance, and enhance quality of life.
What is Medication Management?
Medication management is the careful evaluation, prescription, and ongoing monitoring of psychiatric medications. This process ensures that each client receives the right medication, at the right dose, for their specific needs, while minimizing side effects.
Our Approach
We believe in a collaborative, whole-person approach to care. Our prescribing provider will:
- Conduct a thorough evaluation of your medical and mental health history
- Discuss the benefits, risks, and alternatives to medication
- Develop a personalized treatment plan that may include both medication and therapy
- Provide ongoing follow-up to assess effectiveness and make adjustments as needed
