Ciara is actively completing licensure hours to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota. She has been providing therapy services since 2018 in various settings, including in-home and treatment-based environments. Ciara earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 2021 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Criminal Justice from Concordia University.
Ciara works with children, teens, and adults in individual therapy, addressing a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, grief, anger, trauma, and interpersonal or family relationship challenges.
She has specialized training and a strong interest in trauma, relationship concerns, veterans/military psychosocial assessments, and forensic populations. Ciara is passionate about helping individuals build healthier relationships and lifestyles. She values the therapeutic relationship and focuses on creating a trusting, positive environment for her clients.
Her approach is flexible and tailored to each client’s specific needs, drawing on multiple therapeutic techniques. Ciara incorporates elements of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, as well as short-term, solution-focused methods and long-term supportive therapy.
