Paul Mladnick
Paul Mladnick LADC, LMFT

Paul has over 25 years of experience in the counseling field, specializing in helping individuals overcome alcohol and drug addiction. He completed his chemical dependency counselor training at the University of Minnesota and later attended the Alfred Adler Graduate School to fulfill coursework requirements for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota.

Paul joined Bridges and Pathways Counseling Services in 2006, shortly after its founding. He works primarily with adults seeking support for substance abuse, compulsive gambling, anger management, or relationship conflicts. He also assists couples in addressing communication challenges, trust issues, and coping with addictions. Paul has specialized training in helping individuals with compulsive gambling as well as supporting family members of problem gamblers.

Paul’s counseling approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Adlerian Therapy, and he strongly values motivational interviewing as a tool to empower his clients. He believes in the wisdom of the Twelve Steps programs (AA, NA, GA) as a valuable supplement to addiction treatment and encourages family members and friends to explore the Twelve Steps of Al-Anon.
