Sondra is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with resilience and authenticity. She works with clients to foster positive change, encouraging them to embrace their imperfections and create meaningful lives.
Sondra specializes in addressing a range of issues, including anxiety, panic, depression, grief and loss, persistent mental illness, relationship challenges, unhealthy family dynamics, conflict resolution, parenting skills, aging, caregiver stress, phase-of-life transitions, trauma recovery, and intercultural relationships. She believes in the power of tailored treatment plans and interventions, designed collaboratively to meet each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals. With a focus on unblocking barriers to well-being, she helps clients build on their strengths and live more mindfully and authentically. One of her specialties is working the the issues of Third Culture Kids (TCKs).
Her professional experience spans a variety of settings, including several mental health clinics in the Twin Cities. Before transitioning to clinical social work, Sondra spent 15 years working with underserved populations, including New Americans and immigrants, as well as international students and professors on college campuses. She also served as Director of Family and Youth Services for a social service agency for five years. Sondra combines her diverse experiences and expertise to provide compassionate, effective support, helping clients unlock their potential and achieve greater well-being.
