Erikka provides compassionate counseling in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, self-worth and identity, grief and loss, stress, and life transitions. She utilizes various therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each client’s needs such as CBT, ACT, self-compassion, and somatic techniques often through an Internal Family Systems lens. Erikka believes that clients know themselves best and she is committed to working collaboratively to find the best path forward. Together we will work on finding ways to cope and heal while also discovering strengths, gifts, laughter, and enhancing your self-worth.
Equipped with over 20 years in the human services field, Erikka’s goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring and learning. She believes in empowering you to understand and make sense of your experiences and stories. Erikka takes a holistic approach that includes body, mind, soul (whatever that means to you), and community. She wants clients to feel safe, seen, and heard. Erikka works with adolescents and adults and has a special interest in single parents and kids from single parent homes, LGBTQ+, and end of life transition.
